It takes a village

It really does take a village!

We have a family of five officially.

Life has been a bit crazy so I am sorry I haven't posted anything in months!

So much to catch up on!

For time's sake, I won't go into detail, because we all know I do that way too often.

Arrow Brielle was born Friday, November 11th, 2016!

7 pounds and 2 ounces of sweetness!

She has nearly doubled that now!

We are so blessed!

I have finally been able to get used to wrangling three kiddos each day (and night.)

I thought going from one kid, to two kids was tough.

I learned pretty soon that two kids was a walk in the park compared to three. Not to scare anyone out there--- but I have no idea how the Duggars do it.

But, I am SO happy I get to change diapers, feed them meals I made, teach them lessons, give them kisses when they get hurt, cuddle and read them a book each night, and pray with them, because being a "stay at home mom," it is, well, my calling! It is truly what I am passionate about!

Before I had Raylea my mom told me if I needed to go back to work she would change her schedule around so she could watch her every day for me. Or whenever I worked.

Even though I appreciated the kind (and selfless,) offer, I had wanted nothing more than to be able to be at home as much as possible with the precious gift God gave to Grant and I.

We maybe missed having the extra income after I quit work when I gave birth to Raylea, over 5 years ago, but the benefits to being able to pour into my kids 24/7 outweighs getting a few hundred extra bucks each week. By a long shot!

Some want to or have to go back to work after having a baby, but Grant has made ends meet and we have never went without. Like I said- it is my CALLING to be a stay at home mom. Not all moms feel that calling or CAN do it financially, so that is why I never take a day for granted. The good and the bad days are well received by me.

So, five years later, and three kiddos here with us, (one is in Heaven waiting for us,) we are truly a little tribe!

Here are some photos to catch you up with what's went on in the past several months.

Baby Arrow!

Zechariah 9:14 (incase you want to know where her name came from.)

Christmas time... (obviously) ;-)

Aunt Kay at our house holding Arrow on Thanksgiving Day. Dr. D, was sitting a few feet away and he got to meet Arrow, just three days before he went to Heaven.

It was her first Thanksgiving, and his last.

Time is so precious, people.

Uncle Gabe and Raylea checking out the new member of the fam.

Side note- Arrow's middle name is "Brielle" and is after her Uncle Gabriel.

Becca dreamt Arrow was a girl and she was right!
(we didn't learn the gender until she came out!)

Kara talking to Arrow.

Grant's first cousins, Cheyenne and Crosby and their littles visiting Arrow again.

Daddy got Jack all ready for church! He will surely be a preacher like his dad one day!

Jack Ledbetter.

Row Row (as Jack calls her) in her boots from Mimi!

A picture my mom sent me when she took Raylea to ride her bike recently.

And.... Arrow again!

"hello world"

I'm so blessed and so in love with my little family.

Next post will be back to Raylea's school (which she is doing awesome at!) and anything else exciting going on around here.

Have a blessed day!
